CREAMERY CULTURE
Nancy's Notes

Hello Creamery Friends,
Each year as spring rolls around we eagerly look forward to the changes that are in store for us. Here in Oregon we are able to sit back and appreciate the new season, as we move out of our wet, cold winter. Today the daffodils are in full bloom in front of our creamery, complemented by the bright pink heather and the tulip bulbs that are a few weeks from blooming, but look hopeful. This fresh beauty of spring is inspirational, which must be why we celebrate Earth Day in April!

Nancyware Brush HolderIn the 48 years that we've been operating Springfield Creamery, we have indeed made some changes (this e-newsletter being a testament to that!) ... and we have done a bit of growing along the way. But one thing that remains constant is our desire and efforts to be good stewards of the Earth, a practice that is mirrored by our loyal customers throughout the country. We dedicate this spring newsletter to Earth Day, and to all of you who diligently re-use, reuse and re-think!

As our human footprints upon the Earth seem to become more profound, it becomes more and more essential that we all do out part! At Springfield Creamery, we remain committed to using the sturdy, recyclable and reusable HDPE #2 containers for each of our products. Many of you, in turn are master 'Nancyware' re-users. We have shared some of your reuse ideas below, but we'd love to hear more about your creative uses for your Nancyware - see 'first-ever' Nancy's contest information below. Your ideas will help promote the positive change that the we all look forward to ... for ourselves and our planet.

Our best to each of you this Spring,
The Kesey Family
