ommunity has always been important to us here at Springfield Creamery. The Nancy’s community is about the friends who work side by side on the packaging line, the children who have grown up on our yogurt, and the families that share stories and photos about how our products are a part of their lives. We want to extend that community by helping folks connect, so that we can collectively share our stories, recipes and discoveries. That’s why we recently joined the online community Facebook, (yes, the creamery has come a long way!).

If you are a Facebook member, click here to join us in a collective, cultured conversation.

Sincerely,

Oregon berries are deeply rooted in the state’s food culture, and considered by many to be unrivaled in flavor because of the ideal growing conditions. Throughout the summer, colorful berries are trucked from local farms right into the creamery, filling the building with an unmistakable fragrance. Right now, blueberries are at their peak! Interested in tasting an Oregon blueberry at its best?Just remove the lid on a Nancy’s Organic Blueberry Fruit-on-Top Yogurt. At Nancy’s we capture and process berries at the height of the season, so that every fruit-on-top yogurt is ripe with berry flavor… year-round!

Down to the end of your pantry? This economical and simple recipe from James Beard-nominated Chef and Owner Cathy Whims, of Nostrana in Portland, will become a family favorite. As creamy as Fettuccini Alfredo, this low fat version has a more robust flavor with a slight yogurt tang, counter-balanced with sweet caramelized onions.
